Electoral Actors Preparedness towards 2027 General Elections

A roundup of ELOG recommendations, reform discourse and institutional uptake ahead of 2027.

This roundup tracks how ELOG recommendations and reform priorities are reflected in ongoing electoral reform discourse. Key areas include timely enactment of electoral reforms, comprehensive review of the legal and institutional framework, technology transparency, voter registration integrity, electoral justice timelines and political party reforms.

Past ELOG election observation reports, consolidation reports and mid-cycle review processes continue to inform reform discussions around IEBC operations, electoral technology, dispute resolution, voter education, political party compliance and campaign finance regulation.

FURIC engagements have produced 15 priority reform areas from citizen consultations. These priorities are beginning to influence broader reform conversations, even though many recommendations remain only partially adopted or have not yet been codified into law.
