ELOG engaged citizens at the Westlands Bunge la Mwananchi structure as part of its commitment to strengthening citizen awareness and involvement in electoral processes.
The session introduced ELOG’s work in election observation and shared key findings from FURIC engagements across selected Regional Observation Platforms. These consultations identified 15 priority electoral reform areas reflecting citizen concerns and opportunities in the electoral process.
Participants raised issues on voter registration, electoral technology, dispute resolution and institutional trust. The engagement helped bridge technical reform processes and citizens’ lived experiences.
