Start ApplicationWhat You Gain
Volunteering with ELOG gives you practical exposure to electoral governance, observation, reform monitoring and public accountability.
Before You Apply
Is volunteering the same as being deployed as an election observer?
No. Volunteer registration expresses interest. Observer deployment depends on training, selection, role requirements and specific election-cycle needs.
Can students and young professionals apply?
Yes. Students, graduates, young professionals and experienced practitioners can apply, provided they meet ELOG’s neutrality and conduct expectations.
Can volunteers support remotely?
Yes. Some roles can be remote, including digital support, data checks, communication support and research assistance.
Will volunteers be trained?
Where required, volunteers will receive orientation and may be linked to relevant learning through ELOG’s training structures and the Virtual School of Elections.
