ELOG has deployed 21 media monitors for hate speech as one of the strategies to employ in implementing its observation. We monitor the use of various techniques, hate speech and inflammatory language through the media (Print, TV & Radio), with the aim of informing mitigation by the relevant state-actors.

ELOG on 5th May, 2017 released its report on its long term observation mission and commentary on the prevailing electoral environment ahead of the August, 2017 general elections.
